In November 2016, 6 workshops for self-empowering of Roma woman were organised in the framework of the project “Equal Opportunities for Roma Women to participate in the Labour Market” funded by the EU.
The workshops for self-employment serve also as introductory meetings for unemployed Roma women between 18-55 old from Skopje, in order to inform about the types of support for easier employment and professional development training.
The aim of the workshops is to provide information, the obstacles and advantages they could come across on the labor market, getting acquainted with rights and access to the labor market in Republic of Macedonia, as well as presenting incentive to take part in the labor market.
The self-employment workshops are part of the project “Equal Opportunities for Roma women in the labor market” is implemented by RAZM ‘Luludi’ and OPT, financially supported by the European Union
