The project “Unifying the Voices for Ending Violence against Women” is a regional project implemented by the “Roma Women Centre Bibija”, from Serbia, “Young Roma”, from Montenegro and the Citizen’s Association for the promotion of education of Roma “Otaharin”, from Bosna and Hercegovina and the Roma Women and Youth Association „Luludi“ as a partner from the Republic of North Macedonia.
The project is part of the regional programme “Implementing Norms, Changing Minds: Ending Violence Against Women in the Western Balkans and Turkey”, implemented by the UN Women and supported by the European Union.
The project aim is to contribute to the development of measures towards mutiple inequalities and other forms of discrimination, and violence against Roma women. At the same time, strenghtening the voices of the Roma women for monitoring, reporting and advocating about the implementation of the Istanbul Convention and the CEDAW Convention.
“LULUDI” is a national non-profit and nonpartisan organisation based in Skopje. It seeks to achieve gender equality and protection of women’s rights – the right of the Roma women.
